The CCVIM office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, but we close each day for lunch from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Since our doctors volunteer, we are not able to take walk-ins. We see patients by appointment only, with morning and evening hours to accommodate the patients’ work schedules. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our door will be locked, so please just ring the bell, or call from your car. If you need urgent treatment, please go to the nearest Emergency Room, or Careworks Walk-In Clinic, or dial 911 for help.

The “Culture of Caring” is the heart and soul of every VIM clinic.
This approach is based on an ethical standard in medicine acknowledging that how people are treated during a clinic visit is as important as the actual medical care they receive.
We believe that people who come to a VIM clinic are our friends and neighbors, good people in need of help. Surviving on limited resources, they often exhibit great courage simply trying to get through each day.
Recognizing the strengths of those in need and respecting their dignity, the “Culture of Caring” seeks to heal not only physical illness, but also the injury caused by bias, prejudice, and indifference.
Is it really FREE?
YES! Donations from patients are completely optional- there is no cost for any appointment at the clinic. Doctors, including our medical director and our specialists, donate their time and skills to the vulnerable population that we serve. CCVIM would not be able to afford to compensate the retired and actively-practicing doctors whom are volunteering here. We have general practitioners and several specialists, as well as RN’s and LPN’s, nursing assistants, physician’s assistants, and certified registered nurse practitioners. CCVIM is proud to work with medical and non-medical volunteers on a regular basis. CCVIM provides medical care equal to or greater than any other primary care doctor’s office. It is a professional setting with reception, a waiting area, and exam rooms. The only thing missing is the billing!
